Welcome home! We are a mother/daughter lifestyle blog focused on the lost art of foraging. While the formal definition of forage applies to food and provisions, we believe the art of foraging extends to so much more and can be applied to anything in our daily lives that is overlooked by the common person.

We forage for foliage and flowers in our backyard (or our neighbor’s front yard!), for food in our urban gardens, for berries in fields and forests, for the best travel spots all over the world and for relationships in the people we come across every day.

Lucina

Wife to Kyle, mom to Jordan, Audrey and John (son in-law), house mom to the many young adults we open our doors to and last but never least, dog mom to Molly. I try to live simply but on purpose. I am always in motion but rarely busy. I love to play hostess and lavish on those who come into my home — I believe everyone deserves the best. I grew up in the country but now reside in the big city.  You will find my door (and hopefully my heart) always open. I am passionate about God’s Word and it’s power to change lives.

Audrey

Wife to John and dog mom to Chloe and Rylee.  I like to buck the trend and be anything but normal, because let’s face it, being normal is just way too boring! Petroleum engineer by profession, hybrid driving, tree hugging environmentalist by hobby. City girl with an urban farm and backyard chicken flock. Essential oil enthusiast with a passion for natural living. Obsessive horsewoman and avid hunter. Introvert disguised as an extrovert. Fierce, faithful friend.
